July 2008 Tile Talk Newsletter

Cuban Heritage Featured in Domino Magazine!
Domino Magazine Article Our very own Cuban Heritage tiles were featured in the April 2008 issue of Domino Magazine! Eco-friendly cement tiles in bold hues can brighten up a small entry or vestibule. The most unique way to bring color to a space with white walls is with colored floors! Read the entire article here.

For more ideas on how to incorporate Cuban Heritage tiles into your space, check out our Design Ideas. Cuban Heritage tiles are made-to-order. Color matching & custom designs are available!

Cement Floor Tiles Quick Turnaround for Cement Tiles
Our cement tile supplier, who manufactures the Cuban Heritage line and Hispaniola line, is expanding their facility to decrease production time. This is great news, however it will affect turnaround time during the transition period. Production on these tiles will continue, but shipping dates will be delayed as the supplier moves into the new facility. Orders placed before June 27, 2008 will ship on August 18th. Orders placed after June 27, 2008 will ship September 15th. Please remember these dates when planning for your cement tile project.

Crackle Line to be Discontinued
Crackle Lugo Blue Tile Our Crackle line of tiles is being phased out this summer as we close out our current inventory. This lovely Spanish-inspired line is painted on rough-edge rustic tiles 4.25"x4.25" that are nearly ½" thick.

Call now for availability and please keep in mind that we will not be taking any new orders for this product after July 31, 2008. We are sad to see this line go, but crackle finish can still be completed on all of our Spanish and Portuguese designs using the more traditional 3/8" thick bisque.

Tile Tip Tile Tip
As noted in Domino Magazine's April 2008 "Renovator's Notebook" article, place cement tiles as close together as possible to create a very thin grout line. Minimizing the grout line will make the design look seamless and your space look larger.
