Cadiz Backsplash Project Pick of the Month - Cadiz Kitchen Backsplash
Make your backsplash the focal point of your kitchen by creating a medallion behind the sink or stove using four 6" x 6" Spanish Cadiz tiles. Placed on the diagonal, these tiles work together to create the look of a small mural and draw the eye to the space. Grouping four or more decorative tiles to make a square or diamond is a great way to fill larger backsplash spaces. Consider using a coordinating 3" x 6" border tile, as shown here, for even more decorative appeal.

Tile Tip Tile Tip
Although colored grouts can typically be used with glossy glazed tiles without causing any problems, special care must be taken when using colored grout pigments with matte glazes. To protect the surface of your matte glazed tile, be sure to use a grout release before applying the colored grout. Be sure to test a sample before installation to ensure it will not affect the overall look of the tile.
