This bright, Mediterranean shower uses Barcelona La Merced Quarter Design tiles (6"x6"). The bath wall uses La Merced Large in the same size but with the complete pattern repeated on one tile. A row of 3"x3" tiles in the same design is added at "chair rail" height. Our blue Yucatan Cobalt tile is the trim used and ties everything together. Yucatan Dark Green is also anther great choice for pairing with this design.

Tile Tips
With patterned decorative tiles, it is easy to create a complementary flow between adjoining spaces, simply use a different size tile in the same pattern.

For an eye-catching pattern on a wall or bath surround, use 6" or larger deco tiles and quarter designs of the pattern. Use smaller tiles, 4" or less, for floor accents, the vanity backsplash, or a border.
