Fez Inspires a Moroccan-Themed Cement Tile Patio

Creating long-lasting, colorful Moroccan tile is a form of art that not only has lasted through many centuries, but it has also prospered to where we are witnessing an influx in the interest and usage of Moroccan tile within the architecture and design fields.

Pin It Fez Inspires a Moroccan-Themed Cement Tile Patio

When the Moors conquered Spain in 711 A.D., they introduced various forms of artistic techniques, including a unique custom of painted ceramics, called Zillij. As defined by Islamic law, which prohibits the depiction or likeness of living things, Zillij uses only geometric shapes, straight lines and vibrant colors.

The Fez collection is offered in two colorful styles:

Classic Fez - A - Handmade Cement Tile
Classic Fez - A
Classic Fez - B - Handmade Cement Tile
Classic Fez - B

Design Tip

Our Fez series of Moroccan cement tile patterns, with their playful geometric patterns, work well in both contemporary and traditional environments, and can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors for many years. Fez offers the perfect welcome to any guest with this outdoor cement tile installation, or, create drama using cement tile for entries and patios. Cement Tile Tip

Cement tiles should be regularly mopped with clear water. A capful of liquid wax may be added to the water to improve the tiles' natural sheen. Also, never use acids to clean the tiles as they will sustain damage. Our Cement Tile FAQs will help answer most, if not all, your questions about cement tile.
