Cuban Cement Tiles for a Manhattan Bath
Posted by William Buyok on
Designer Celia Reiss of Manhattan, NY-based Celia Reiss Interiors recently combined her love of cement tile with her design talent when she incorporated the two into her bathroom. The 8" x 8" cement floor tiles used in this project are from our Cuban Heritage Design 140-2B 8 x 8 series. They incorporate the contemporary colors of Light Turquoise, Brown, and Caribbean Blue. Celia wisely chose not to use the border pattern for this design because the bathroom isn't big enough to accommodate both a bold border and an intricate pattern. The field pattern uses only Light Turquoise and Brown. Notice how...

Cement Tile Terrace with San Juan, Solid Color Tiles

Create a grid of patterned tiles instead of the common carpet design in the center of the room. In this design, a group of four pattern tiles create medallions that are separated by a row of solid color tiles on each side to create a grid. The San Juan cement tile pattern works well in this application because the pattern's border outlines the medallion. Our Traditional Cement Tiles are a classic collection of historical cement tile patterns available in the standard 8"x8" format. This San Juan cement tile installation uses a grid layout to create a look reminiscent of Spanish...
