Cool Ice Concept
Posted by William Buyok on
Cracked Ice rhomboids, triangles and small liner pieces are used here as an accent. A "cool ice" look can be achieved with a mix of slate blue and white Cracked Ice tiles.Because of their translucence, Cracked Ice tiles can really make a decorative strip stand out, even when using the same color as the field tile surrounding it.

Warm Ice Concept

A variety of Cracked Ice tiles are used to create this decorative strip. Rich amber and burgundy tiles can add warmth to a space, even if just used as an accent, as shown here. The unique rhomboid and triangle shapes of the tiles add an unexpected visual dynamic element to a wall or backsplash installation.

Olive Beige Deco tiles are grouped together amidst the Olive Beige Field tiles in this kitchen backsplash. Small decorative tiles can often be grouped together, as shown here, to create a focal point tile medallion and to help carry the "theme" using an alternate pattern.

Olive Tile Design Lends Rustic, Tuscan Charm to Backsplash
Posted by William Buyok on
The Olive Beige Field and Olive Beige Deco tiles used in this kitchen backsplash are a wonderful complement to the maple cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. A square pattern with the decorative tiles on a diagonal really makes the deco tiles pop, while the alternating row pattern provides visual interest. Rustic tiles with rough edges, such as these, look great with wider grout lines and they help to provide a contrast to the smooth, polished granite countertop.
