Yucatan Tile Dots Spice Up a Kitchen Backsplash

A few small hand-painted dots used randomly to create subtle interest that doesn't clash with the granite or tile. In this design, Spanish Teruel 1.5" x 1.5" Dots were used as accents for the Yucatan Chamois 4" x 4" field tile laid on-point. The 4"x4" bull-nosed tile were cut for the top trim, further reducing costs by avoiding more-costly trims. Notice how the wall outlets don't mess up the decorative tile insets? Gossamer Concept

Gossamer Burgundy field tiles make for a stunningly elegant look when paired with the matching cornice.  The light crackle finish softens the entire look. Using complementary field tiles around a decorative mural, such as the Teruel 8" x 8" mural, really helps to bring out the richness of the colors. Setting them on the diagonal adds visual interest while the matching cornice adds a finished look.
