The peaceful sounds of a water feature are enhanced by the presence of delightful and colorful hand-painted tile.  Spanish Andalucia patterned tiles frame this outdoor fountain, white tiles are used around the base and deep blue tiles create a refreshing water line and accent strip. The Andalucia design uses soft, subtle colors that, in this instance, add color without taking attention away from the statue and the fountain.  The neutral tones also compliment the wall in the background.

Alternating different tiles between patio risers, as shown here with Spanish Valencia and Spanish Cadiz, makes for a beautiful entry way. A single row of decorative tiles as risers for patio steps is a great way to bring design outdoors.  The tiles can coordinate with the color and style of your house or can be a prelude to the decor inside your home.

To create visual interest with each step, the owners of this residence decided upon our Spanish Caceres ceramic tile series.  Installed on the diagonal, it definitely adds a special and much-needed design element. The white Spanish Caceres with various shades of blue looks exceptional set against the larger, terracotta colored tiles.  For the patio risers, Spanish Valencia and Spanish Cadiz were alternated between steps.
