Avente Tiles exhibition of Pins and Needles, a tile design by Jorge Aguayo, garnered a mention in Azure Magazine. Diane Chan's April article, "Eight Standouts From Coverings 2013," includes these textured tiles on its list.

Inspired by the delicate patterns of lace and embroidered fabrics, Jorge Aguayo, of the Dominican Republic, has created delicate designs which are truly elegant when cast in Aguayo's marble dust and cement process.
