A design completed by Ines Haml, Designer and Principal of The Sky is the Limit Interior Design Concepts in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada was featured in the March 2016 print issue of Homes and Cottages Magazine. The idea was to tie the structure to its architectural origins, says Donna Hochberg of the 1790 post-and-beam Federal-style home in North Reading she bought in 2009. "I wanted to preserve and protect its history, to bring rooms back to what is historically appropriate."   A succession of owners had undertaken unsympathetic renovations and additions, so restoring the house's integrity was an ambitious project.
