You can contrast this bright colorful pattern to the more muted Octagonal Cement Tile Rug rug accent created especially for a master bathroom. Customize the pattern with any color to create a totally different look.
Handmade Cement Tile floors are the perfect complement to any room. In this example, the bold palette used on the walls and accent areas is seamlessly repeated in the eye-catching Sosua Cement Tile floor pattern.
Visitors to this area are immediately drawn to the focal point of this room with the energizing, bright concrete tile floors that combines two tile patterns. The field, or rug, is the Sosua pattern, while the border comprised of our Traditional Malaga Cement Tile in a different color palette.
Cement Tile Tip
Cement tiles can be installed on wooden sub-floors. For residential flooring applications, we recommend you install cement tiles on a backer board with a 1/2" plywood sub-floor above the floor boards.
However, if the house is on a hill or is an older home and subject to settling, then the floor may suffer some damage due to movement. This slow movement or settling may cause some tiles to break over time; but, it is very rare.
Most importantly, an extremely level surface is critical for any cement tile floor installation. For commercial applications, we recommend that you only install over a flat, level and stable cured concrete surface.
