Romana Cement Tile Makes for Eye-Popping Backsplash

Avente Tile customer Constance Zaytoun recently designed and oversaw the remodeling of her Chelsea, NY, kitchen that included a cement tile backsplash to be envied. She and her husband, Marc Weitz, embarked on a journey about a year ago to make their humble Chelsea kitchen into nothing short of stunning! They had a vision, a goal and a budget and they achieved just about everything they wanted with their project. Relief Cement Tile Offers Flexibility, Classic Style

Relief cement tile are not commonly found here in the United States. Installations are often limited to monochromatic geometric patterns for pool decks, sidewalks, and utility room floors. You can also change the colors used on this pattern using any of the sixty colors found in the Mission color palette. Photo credit: Original Mission Tile

Cuban Cement Tiles for a Manhattan Bath

Designer Celia Reiss of Manhattan, NY-based Celia Reiss Interiors recently combined her love of cement tile with her talent for design when she with incorporated the two into her own bathroom. The 8" x 8" cement floor tiles used in this project are from our Cuban Heritage Design 140-2B 8 x 8 series. They incorporate the contemporary colors of Light Turquoise, Brown, and Caribbean Blue. Celia wisely chose not to use the border pattern for this design because the bathroom isn't big enough to accommodate both a bold border and intricate pattern. The field pattern uses only Light Turquoise and...
